B1 bulb

Hi, tried resetting bulb and WiFi, ensuring 2.4 and not the 5g wifi, can’t update firmware using hotspot as no idea what that even means, surely it shouldn’t be this hard to connect a bulb in 2025,

Please try the following steps to update firmware:
1. Use another phone to open a hot-spot as WiFi. When setting up another phone as a hotspot, if there is a compatibility-related toggle on the interface, make sure to enable it. 
2. Go to WLAN setting, connect your own phone to the hot-spot.
3. Reset the bulb in pairing mode and pair it to Lepro app.
4. Click ‘Firmware Upate’ in ‘Me’ interface.
5. After successful firmware update, connect your phone to your WiFi router, reset the bulb and re-pair it with the Lepro app.

Hi, I’ve tried these steps many times without success. After connecting to another mobile phone hotspot I still cannot pair the bulb to the lepro app in order to update firmware (as the bulb flashes blue)

Dear user,
Thank you for your response.
Please ensure your bulb is paired to Lepro app before entering 'me' interface to update the firmware.
If you're using an iPhone with the Lepro app installed, you can also try updating the app to version 1.0.47 first. After paired the bulb to the app via Bluetooth pairing only, proceed to update the firmware.
