I’m having trouble programming my E1 to two colors every other bulb. When I ask AI to set lights to orange and purple it does but not steady. I don’t want flashing or pulsing or breathing just steady. Any help would be appreciated.

You can try providing more specific instructions in the AI prompt interface. In the recommended light effects interface, swipe up to view more options.
If you still don't find the desired effect, go to the 'DIY' interface, tap “Precise view,” and manually draw colors to each light.

I do not have the option of “Precise View” I’ve tried to reset, delete the set from the app as well as using “length detection”. Still I have no success.
