Is there a way to save or favourite my colour preset

Would be so handy to save my favourite colours to access easily

Yes, just bought the S1 light strip for its individually addressable sections and I’m shocked to find there’s no way to save configurations, other than an eight colour animation. I won’t buy any more until it’s possible to save “precise” colour definitions AND export a way to select them from Alexa and Assistant. Right now it’s an entirely manual process using the app - I need to control it via Alexa like the rest of the house. Disappointing.

Dear user,
Thank you for your inquiry.
1. In the DIY interface, swipe up to find the Save button at the bottom to save your lighting effects (currently unavailable for bulb-type products).
2. For recommended lighting effects in the AI prompt interface, tap the small heart icon next to the effect to save it.
Effects saved using either method will appear in the Favorites interface.
Please feel free to contact us if there are any other questions.
Best regards

Sorry I was imprecise - I confused two lighting apps!

Yes you can save a DIY setup… but you can’t select such setups from Alexa or Google Home. So through those voice assistants you can choose a single colour, but not one of the named saved setups.

If it isn’t possible to specify setups through Alexa, could it be possible to export a device+setup as a “virtual device” - eg if we can’t say “Set the foo lamp to bar”, then export foo+bar as baz so we can “Switch on baz”.
