Can I add the hundreds of pounds of lights I have already purchased, which use the Lamplux app currently, to this new Lepro+ app?
So I can have a central app for control…
So dull to have more than one app surely….

Unfortunately they can't be added in Lepro+ app.
Lepro+ products do not use the hardware required by LampUX.
LampUX doesn't support advanced features like Lepro AI and music rhythm synchronization.To offer better AI capabilities, music sync features, and other advanced functionalities, Lepro has developed its own independent hardware and software.

Lepro Lampux use Tuya hardware. The hardware does not have software interface for our advanced features in Lepro+. For example, AI and music sync.
If Tuya open software interfaces to support non Tuya hardware in the future, we are happy to provide our advanced features to Lepro Lampux customers.
Very boring indeed, I get new features but to effectively stop selling the legacy products because they don’t integrate with the new app is rubbish.
The new app should accept/integrate legacy hardware.
Does not encourage me to continue further investment in Lepro products.

Ideally I would like one app to control all smart/ai enabled lights.
I cannot achieve this with the Lepro legacy hardware and the new ai hardware, as far as I can see.
You are right. Under normal circumstances, the Lepro APP should be able to control all Lepro hardware devices. Lepro Lampux is developed based on TUYA hardware and can only accept commands from the TUYA cloud. We found that when we wanted to implement some features for a better user experience, there were limitations. For example, AI lighting design assistant.
Therefore, we had to open another product line and develop new hardware and cloud services to achieve features that TUYA could not. However, our cloud service cannot directly control devices based on TUYA hardware, which has resulted in the Lepro+ APP being unable to control Lepro Lampux.
