We need an API for the addressable light strips

I saw on a forum post from March 2025 that Lepro does not have plans so far to release an API for their addressable lights.  The post suggests we just use Alexa\Google integration, or the app itself.  This is unfortunately, not sufficient.  I want to wrap my whole home in these lights, but I need to be able to control them programmatically.  As the app communicates with the lights through unencrypted data transmissions, I could use Wireshark to observe the data stream and  engineer a solution, but that seems like a lot of work and I really shouldn’t have to.  Can you please release an API for us, or a python library, to allow us to control the lights in a way that is more befitting to home automation enthusiasts like myself?
