Why won’t the lights after an extension ?

Thank you for your message.
1.Please ensure that you are using our extension cable. 
2.Please ensure that the connection points are aligned and fully inserted. 
3.Please ensure that the connected extension cables do not exceed the maximum limit; for instance, the original extension cables for the E1 lights without a signal amplifier can only connect up to 15ft in total. 
If you've checked all the above and the string lights function normally without the extension cable, then the extension cable may be faulty.

Yep had my second string working then when I downloaded the app it stopped working
