WiFi connectivity

Is anyone having an issue with WiFi connectivity to their lights. Mine says it’s successful but won’t let me control lights unless close enough for Bluetooth. Shows exclamation point through WiFi symbol even though it says connection successful.

1. Please make sure the network is 2.4G only (not 5G and 2.4G existing at the same time) when connecting the bulbs to the app.
2. Please select the bulb, click the setting icon in the upper right corner and select Wifi information to finish the connection.

I have tried this about 25 times. Been working with customer service and they are telling me it’s an issue with the app. If I go to my router it shows the lights are connected but not in the app. I have deleted and reinstalled the app and still not working.
