Wind down changed?

Ever since I updated my lamp the „wind down” mode has changed for the worse.


Before the update, the wind down mode would keep the colour set, dim, and fade to red.
 
Now at the set wind down time it switches to a white colour and just fades. No longer fades to red either! 
 
The previous wind down mode was so much better. Any way to bring it back?
