I have had a led room bulb now about a year, and love the upgrade, but have some small gripes. I’m someone who can be quite prone to migraines, and the fine control on the colours available, brightness and quick access to turning them off is a lifesaver.
So, here’s the problem. My phone is a bit weak, and seemingly the app has some key problem ui decisions with the ai tab. I never really need to use it, as my light hardly leaves its common set rules, and the vagueness of input and output with the ai tab and my instructions is kinda a no go. However, due to the main page it opens to being the AI tab, and then once I click it, the app forcing a pop up from the bottom of the screen covering the menu to choose other tabs including the power button (one to just inform me the device has connected over bluetooth), I oft find the main light control center for the light clunky and kinda unusable for more immediate situations.
I rn have shortcuts to turn it off and on, but I can’t make the app open to shortcuts - meaning this is a workable but still awkward solution. My first suggestion, one that should be very easy, would just be a setting to allow us to set the app to default to shortcuts rather than the main control center, as it makes the process less clunky and is a quick, clean and quite versatile option applicable to probs people with similar problems (seen people mentioning things like sliders, the shortcuts are buttons and are quite nice for fine control as an answer for these groups).
However, a second suggestion would be to add an option to either disable or move the AI tab. I understand it has its uses, but I am currently in a position where, for what I use the light for, the tab is just a detriment, and if it atleast opened to colour control I could turn it all the way down without having to wait 10+ seconds every time I open the device manager.
A third one would be to maybe make that notification less invasive. Idk what it is, as ik people who have less invasive versions of it with this app, but allowing us to change it or the menu locations so they aren’t stepping in the way of eachother constantly would be really nice.
I don’t imagine all of these would be done/needed, but even just one of these would really help make this light perfect as a casual option with led and phone control, and a less clunky to use overall experience.
