Have tried many time to connect my B1 lightbulb to my 2.4ghz WiFi so I can control though Alexa. It will not work - I have installed many WiFi bulbs before, I even bought a newer bulb version, still nothing have tried everything. Bluetooth works fine but will not then connect to WiFi (I switched off the 5ghz WiFi so just 2.4) what can I do??
Dear user,
Pleae use another phone to open a hot-spot as WiFi to test whether it is your network issue:
1. Go to WLAN setting, connect your own phone to the hot-spot (2.4G) and turn on “Bluetooth” in your own phone
2. Please turn on the bulb, it will start breathing blue light, which means it’s in pairing mode. If it does not breathe blue light, please switch the light off and on four times.
3. Open Lepro App, click “Add device”
4. If it shows on top “1 Device Detected”, then directly click “Check”
5. You will be requested to fill the name and password of your WiFi
6. Click “Next”, the bulb will be paired successfully in seconds, and the bulb will turn to solid white color
7. Rename the bulb and click “Done”
8. Then you will be directed to Home screen of Lepro App and you can see this bulb in device list.
If it still fails to work, please tell us which step failed and the error message so that we may further assist you.
Best regards,
