When I choose a setup that looks like a smooth gradient in the app my lightbulbs start strobing
Is there any way to make them pass through the colors without giving me migraine? My older lepro bulbs have presets that smoothly change between colors, I’m confused why I can’t seem to find a way to do that with the newer ones

You may try searching for commands like "fading colors," "smooth gradient colors," or "smooth changing from green to blue" in the AI section to find the options you like. You can edit the color, brightness, and speed as desired, and then save it to your favorites.

I have found a few non-flashing gradients but using prompts with “fading” and “smooth” still gives me suggestions with very fast flashing. They are indistinguishable from options with gentle color transitions in the preview. I don’t have epilepsy but it’s concerning that it pulls up options with rapid flashing and no indication there will be flashing even when I’m giving prompts that day “slow and smooth”

To slow down the speed, you can select your desired light effect and click "Edit" to adjust the speed to your preference.
If you're looking for fading colors, you can explore light effects with smooth transitions instead of sharp ones. For example, consider the third and fourth effects shown in the image below:
