After loosing the connection to my E1 lights on my phone -
I finally got my E1 lights to connect to my app after uninstall and reinstall of the app.
I then pressed the on off button for 5 seconds till the lights were blue.
- however it like starting from new.
All my settings and favorites are gone.
Where did they go? I have had to do this with other apps and it was never like starting new again.

Typically, favorites are linked to your account rather than the device itself. As long as you are logged into the same account, your favorites should remain accessible.
It seems that you may have logged into a different account than your previous one. Please try logging into your original account, which should allow you to see your favorites list.
