Cannot connect to WiFi BP1 bulbs

The bulbs connect via Bluetooth, but will not connect to my 2.4ghz WiFi. My networks are separated as I run a smart home, and many smart devices don’t work with 5g.


I have reset these lights about 10 times, they will not connect to anything other than Bluetooth.

I am running a mesh network capable of 100 WiFi devices, so I know it is not my network.

Have rebooted the mesh, still won’t work.

Really frustrating as they will not work with Alexa, is there a fault batch or something? there is a few people with the same issue.

How far are the lights away from your router? It might help to put them closer.

Did you update the software of your bulb to the newest version?

I am running a mesh, I get full WiFi signal in the whole house and garden. It has not told me they need to update, I went to force an update and I didn’t say there was any.

My lights won’t let me connect to the WiFi and it doesn’t flash blue

Regarding the connection issue, please try the following steps:
1. Turn on Bluetooth.
2. Connect your phone to the 2.4G WiFi network.
3. Remove the light from the Lepro app
4. Turn on the light; it will start flashing a slow blue light, indicating it's in pairing mode. If it doesn't flash blue, please reset it:
    -- If your product is one of the following models—B1, BC1, BP1, R2, or T1—please switch it off and on four times. 
    -- If your product is one of these models—WL1, S1, N1, ZB1, TB1, TB2, E1, etc—please long press the button on the control box for over 5 seconds.
5. Open the Lepro App and click "Add Device."
6. If it shows "1 Device Detected" at the top, click "Check."
7. Enter your WiFi name and password.
8. Click "Next." The light will pair successfully within seconds.
9. Rename the light and click "Done."
 
If the connection fails, please let us know which step did not work and the error message you received so we can assist you further. A screenshot of the error message would also be helpful.
