I cut my rgbic s1 strip 65ft to fit my room exactly but when color chasing it still syncs full length and seems to not recognize new length, is there anyway I could make it identify new length like a refresh length option in the app?

We understand your concern regarding the S1 strip light. However, please note that our product page specifies that this S1 strip light is not cuttable or extendable. The controller program is designed to match the specific length of the LED strip, and cutting or extending it may result in compatibility and performance issues.
Unfortunately, there is no option in the Lepro app to refresh the length or adjust it after cutting. We recommend using the S1 strip as intended for optimal performance.

I am wanting to cut my strips shorter for a project i am working on… And was wondering the same thing… Just curious, how come you guys never included the length adjustment option in your app?? That must have been thought about when the strip and app were being designed , no?? Regardless, you think you would have added that option to the app by now, no?

For lights like WL1, E1, ZB1, length adjustment is supported in the app. However, for strip lights like S1, N1 and SE1, length adjustment is not available. We do not recommend cutting or extending these strips, as doing so may cause damage or malfunction.
