Unfortunately, my house does not have the roof overhang shown in this photo. How do you suggest installing the lights there? I think attaching them to the wall will not produce the effect where it shines the light down. Should I get tiny little L-shaped brackets for each one?
It was easy to install my permanent lights by using the adhesives and sticking them to the soffit, the part that is under the roof overhang. That covers the front of the house.

If you want to achieve the same effect as the above picture, you need to buy the bracket. We've attached an image for your reference.
The light pattern of illumination will be different if the distance from the wall is different.
